AURA
What is AURA?
AURA stands for Advanced Unanswered Ringback Application and is a unique patented feature of CallConfirmLive!
CallConfirmLive! offers unique flexibility by providing two basic types of monitoring which have a variety of features, and which can be combined in different ways to satisfy individual customer requirements:
- o Unanswered monitoring featuring CM2000’s patented Advanced Unanswered Ringback Application (AURA).
- o Answered monitoring with secure PIN number identification and the option for remote call logging.
Regardless of which type of monitoring you choose, CallConfirmLive! can be accessed from any desktop PC with an internet connection. This provides instant access to live care visit data from anywhere at anytime. Being internet based, CallConfirmLive! is fast, efficient and simple to operate. All of CM2000’s customers now use AURA with answered calls being used to capture additional information (if required).
Unanswered Monitoring featuring AURA
On arrival at the Service User’s home, the Carer rings a freephone number connected to the CM2000 monitoring system letting it ring twice. Using Caller Line Identification (CLI), the system detects the call and matches the Service User’s telephone number to the database of Customers and Service Users / Carers, logging the time the call was made and matching this to the roster / schedule of care (assuming this is available). The Carer repeats the procedure on leaving.
Unlike unanswered monitoring systems provided by other suppliers, the patented AURA system automatically and unambiguously identifies both the Carer and the Service User from an unanswered call. AURA can confirm the visit has been logged with an instant ring back, giving the benefits of an answered call with the cost effectiveness of an unanswered call.
AURA is a unique departure from standard answered and unanswered call monitoring options, fully utilising the capabilities of the latest telephone technology.
Answered Monitoring
This uses a PIN number unique to each Carer and Caller Line Identification (CLI) to log visit information at the CM2000 Call Centre. The Carer may also use their PIN number to log visit information from any remote telephone or mobile. Answered Monitoring may be used to complement AURA and is particularly useful where the Service User does not have a telephone or the Carer needs to retrospectively log other activities, such as Shopping trips, that do not take place at the Service User’s home.
